I agree. Its not the same as cash. Its the same as a country that allows 2 diff currencies. where one is bitcoin and the other is created by individuals / centralised systems, with exchange rates depending on that individual.

It will reduce the monetary flow of one currency, and have exchange rate volatility.

That's not to say its a bad innovation, but it has its flaws. To be extremely sensitive talking about its pros and cons is dangerous and worrying.

However if this innovation can truly acknowledges its pros and cons and understand the world and its use cases, then it will be able to understand its application. Only then it can market itself and find its market fit.

thank you. i just hope it provides diff views and perspective

Once we get past the Putin memes of history , there's important information - re CIA, military complex, energy, economy expansion, the backfiring of sanctions etc.

It took me many books, various authors from diff countries over several years to break away from this “russia is bad” mentality.

To me, this interview was a good one. Putin carried himself well, full of facts at his fingertips. I will pick a few points from it and provide context :

1. Christianity - many of us may have grown up thinking there were only 2 branches of Christians - Catholics and Protestants. There are actually 3 : Catholics, Protestants and Orthodox.

Orthodox is practiced in Russia, Greece and various other countries that were once part of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire or influenced by the Byzantine tradition.

What does this tell you ?

Russians are Christians. Putin goes to church every Sunday. He is a brother, yo.

Russia converted from paganism to Christianity in 842 AD (or 988AD) under the rule of Grand Prince Vladimir the Great of Kiev which is today Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. They have been Christians longer than the US.

2. The relationship of Russia and the Jews

Russia has been providing a safe passage for the Jews from the persecution of Europe from the 10th century

- Jews were expelled from England in 1290 by King Edward I and were only allowed to return in the mid-17th century.

- Spanish inquisitions in the 15th century required them to convert to Christianity or leave/ be killed

- Expulsion from France, Germany in the middle ages.

- Life wasn't all rosy and dandy in Russia either, they faced challenges in eastern Russia and hence the migration back to Israel back and forth, and eventually a decent settlement land

3. Is there an Israel settlement land in Russia ?

Yes. The Jewish Autonomous Oblast (JAO) is a Jewish settlement in Russia, the only other country outside of Israel that provides this.

4. Are Christians ok with killing ?

Towards the end Tucker Carlson poked on this and asked what Putin thought about being a christian and killing.

I was thinking to myself, well hello Tucker - you should have at least pick up on the Christian history.

That and truly, what about the US and Europe and the millions they have killed in the last century. What did the US think when they dropped 2 nuclear bombs on Japan ? That this is the Christian way?

5. And with that, has Russia dropped a nuclear bomb on any countries ?

Nope

6. Who fought the most against the Nazis ?

Russia. Russia was the reason Nazi weakened. They lost 27 million people.

There was an example Putin gave where someone in Canada parliament was highlighting that he fought against Russia during WW2 and because of general hatred against Russia, all the politicians praised him and cheered him on.

What was the problem here?

If you are fighting against Russia in WW2, then you are a Nazi.

Can you believe that today’s politicians are blinded with hatred, and don't even know basic history that they were cheering on a Nazi. And this is Canada - a first world country.

7. Was the Japan bombing to weaken communism and Nazi ?

Well..the war was already reaching its end. Pearl Harbor happened 4 years before the bombing so it was not “in retaliation for peace keeping”.

Hitler killed himself 4 months before the bombing happened so it wasn't to weaken the Nazis.

But the Bretton Woods Conference did happen a year before that, and the US was the only country with atom bombs. Surely would have gotten every country who were still contemplating to sign up and make the US the main foreign trade currency - just saying.

It's probably an answer you will have to figure out on your own.

8. Does Putin hate the Nazis ?

Yes. He said they must be removed. He wants the neo nazis removed in Ukraine.

He apparently asked asked Zelensky why he was supporting neo nazis when his dad was a frontliner fighting against fascism. While he did not say what Zelensky responded, he did say that Zelensky is driven by the hype of everything. Also, Nazis are far right. Russia was far left.

9. Is Russia a communist country ?

No. They have embraced democracy for over 20 years now. There are def traces of social aspects but their capitalist driven economy is flourishing.

10. Did sanctions impact Russia ?

Nope. It backfired and impacted the US and Europe.

Russia used to trade 80% in USD, now it trades 13%. It used to trade 3% in Yuan, now 34%. Its relationship with China and other Brics countries are just getting stronger. The US on the other hand is suffering from increased debts.

11. Is Putin a fan of Stalin, Lenin ?

I was kinda surprised he took a pisser on both of them.

It was quite funny how he described the challenges of the USSR as dubious thanks to Stalin and Lenin.

12. What's up with the current Ukraine war ?

So many things. This can go on forever so I will just say what Putin said. They tried many attempts of peace keeping.

The Ukraine head even agreed in their conversations in Istanbul, but Boris Johnson dissuaded them. Now Johnson is happily retired while thousands are dying.

There is a current agreement the Minsk agreements and Zelensky has refused to honor.

The Minsk agreements were negotiated in 2014 and 2015 to establish a ceasefire and a political framework for resolving the conflict between Ukrainian government forces and separatist groups in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Eastern Ukraine.

13. What's up with Nato ?

Nato agreed not to extend their presence after 1991, they extended 5 times, now at the frontline of Russia.

14. Is Putin willing to negotiate with Ukraine ?

Yes, and tried many times but Ukraine now has a “non-negotiating” law against Putin.

15. Has Russia brokered peace conversations with the US ?

Many times but each time the US declined. Actually it was the CIA and other agents that declined. According to him he had decent relationship with the presidents - Bush, Clinton - but “who controls the US” that becomes a question.

He also wanted to see if Russian can join Nato, but was declined.

16. Does he want to keep the US journalist in prison ?

The journalist had confidential information that he was passing to secret service and was caught in the act. Putin does not want to keep him, but wants better negotiation deals out of it.

17. How much funding went to Ukraine?

Over $70 billion on weapons by US, Germany and others. Imagine if it was invested into building the country up instead of tearing it down.

18. Energy supply

The blast was one of the worst climate disaster in modern times. Russia’s side has rebuilt it and ready to resume. Germany refuses to take. Russia's economy is fine. Germany is suffering.

19. Putin’s thoughts on propaganda :

“victory in the war of propaganda - it is very difficult to defeat the United States because the United States controls all the world's media and many European media. The ultimate beneficiary of the biggest European media are American financial institutions”

20. Tucker Carlson on AI

I think Tucker was probing how advanced Russian AI tech is. To which Putin said he was more concern on the impact on humanity on AI and genetics

This is a wrap. While this might seem like a positive note on Russia, there are many things I disagree with Russia and there are many things I will praise US for. The above are just some points from the interview.

I will end this with what Putin said : “Everyone has the thought that Russia can be defeated on the battlefield because of arrogance, not because of great mind”

If there is one takeaway from all of this, its this - the 'Battle of egos' never benefited anyone

yea, Biden laser eyes? Is he trying to get Bitcoiners attention, making fun or confused on what laser eyes represents?

Zines, Sex Pistols, and the birth of Indie - "When I reached my twenties, I had my second DIY moment. I was living in Washington, D.C., in the early 1980s, when it was one of the hotspots of the American punk rock movement. Bands such as Minor Threat and the Teen Idles were being formed by white suburban teenagers and playing in church basements. Despite not knowing how to play an instrument and having limited talent, I got caught up in the excitement of the moment and played in some of the lesser bands in the scene. It was eye-opening.

Like all garage rock and roll, all you needed to be in a band was an electric guitar and an amp. But what was new about the 1980s punk phenomenon was that the bands did more than just play; they also started to publish. Photocopiers were becoming common, and from them arose a “zine” culture of DIY magazines that were distributed at stores and shows and by mail. Cheap four-track tape recorders allowed bands to record and mix their own music, without a professional studio. And a growing industry of small vinyl-pressing plants let them make small-batch singles and EPs, which they sold via mail order and local shops.

This was the start of the DIY music industry. The tools of the major labels—recording, manufacturing, and marketing music— were now in the hands of individuals. Eventually some of these bands, led by Minor Threat and then Fugazi, started their own indie label, Dischord, which eventually produced hundreds of records and is still running today. They didn’t need to compromise their music to get published, and they didn’t need to sell in big numbers or get radio play. They could find fans; indeed, the fans found them via word of mouth, and postcards poured into such micro-labels to order music that couldn’t be found in most stores. The relative obscurity conferred authenticity and contributed to the rise of the global underground that defines Web culture today.

My bands did all of this: from the photocopied flyers to the zines to the four-track tapes to the indie-label albums. We never got very big, but that wasn’t the point. We still had day jobs, but we were doing what we thought was genuinely innovative and getting people at our shows, even touring to New York and to other cities with their own indie music scenes. Out of this came the roots of what would become today’s alternative rock world.”

This sweet fella turns 11 next week ❤️ ️and has a date with his vet. Keeping fingers crossed on his kidney issues.

He didn’t have much appetite a few weeks back so his paranoid owner did the worst possible - I got specialised processed food for his kidneys - wasn’t cheap. Unfortunately Fido reacted so badly to it he had indigestion for a few days and developed severe rashes.

Fido has only eaten real food all his life; we avoid dog kibble or canned options. His meals :

Protein : cooked chicken, organs, beef

Carb : brown rice (helps with bowel movement)

Fibre : he snacks on fresh carrots, beans and apples.

Turns out, he didn't have appetite because he developed a taste for fish, prob influenced by the cat! He now enjoys fresh, cooked salmon and sardines, rich in omega-3.

Fido is sensitive to dairy and gluten, and while he loves cheese and milk, cutting it out improved his gut significantly.

I do give him joint supplements, i hide them in homemade peanut butter coated with honey and his fish oil in organ meat. He has no idea. He also loves eggs, especially yolks, but because of chronic kidney disease stage 2, we split, I take the yolks and give him the whites fried in lard for flavor.

I've had dogs all my life but I’ve never done a raw meat diet for dogs. But if I have another pup, I’ll train him up with raw organ meat - superfood. Fido is too old for a change of diet now.

His rash is improving with a concoction of coconut oil, almond oil, and grape seed oil, known for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and ceramide properties. Castor oil is super oil and reduced inflammation overnight, but risky as its lethal if they ingest it if licked.

This week has been an absolute disaster with fireworks non stop, poor fella. He picked up this new trick of getting my attention by reaching for my laptop when there is thunder or fireworks . Pretty sure he is going to show up on my video calls one of these days.

Fido consumes so much of my time, effort and energy, and the cause of my daily lack of sleep lol. Not to mention the times I run after him when he chases the birds, tries to pick fights with dogs. Just end of last year I scraped both my knees, injured a toenail, fractured another toe trying to stop him from getting into a fight lol (not the first time)

But I cannot imagine life without this fella. He has been my daily walks, my reminder to see the sunlight at 7am and sunset at 7pm as it’s his pee time, my constant reminder that no matter how shitty life is to never forget his belly rubs lol, his gentle hugs, the adventures, and my best friend for 11 years

you are right, many low-level industries suffer because they struggle to adopt technology gradually or become digitalized.

In SEA (and small community-based businesses globally), families often pass down traditions, but younger gens prefer alt ways which is great. Integrating traditional artisans with modern tech would be beneficial. But its this transition that needs helping hand. unfortunately economy is managed by govt who are mostly not visionary and love to cover up problems instead of finding solutions

but as i am exploring diff markets in SEA i am so amazed at how advance some markets are growing and how backwards some have become.

from the festives given global manufacturing are concentrated heavily around Asia Pacific, South East Asia that is celebrating it

sorry, i meant from the lunar festival given a high number of manufacturing are in China and South East Asia

from CNY lol. my front end producers were down 2 weeks pre CNY and back end makers are out 2 weeks post CNY.

best case i'm guessing is a verdict that indicates clown cannot prove he is Satoshi. And this becomes a precedence to many other cases and protects people who voice out against him.

would you know if this is the highest court in the UK ?

more than half of the world's manufacturing is likely down

aiks! centralised version ?

I have a question if that's ok. For open source based LLMs - is it possible for individual users to tune it to how it can perform for them ? And if many users use the same system, can each tune it to individual needs? Hence there is no "bossman" controlling it, users are their own bosses.

I was thinking if this were to be integrated to a client that can enable users to tune the algo to what they want. For example maybe now i want more dog and baby pics, tonight i'm feeling jazz, weekend more health stuff etc hence the posts that has it and the people that posts it shows up more.

It might enable more engaging contents. From a UX its just a lever but from a back end mechanism i am not sure how it works. This is a rough sketch in my mind :
