The bit where the shapeshifting racoon narrator matter-of-fact my says "I took an office job" after his habitat has been destroyed kills me every time.

My kids are watching Pom Poko again. I think it's my favourite Studio Ghibli film.

Oh, so maybe John Podesta's map was pizza-related after all?

This sounds like Berlin school, but done with guitars. Very noice.

Yeah, it seems like a big step up from the other web clients I've tried.

Trying out Primal as my desktop client and so far it seems excellent.

The best explanation for UFO phenomena that I've come across.

It's remarkable that there is zero critical or investigative reporting on this topic. The media is happy to take it all at face value, confident that after covid, they can report any old shit and people will believe it.

No one honestly believes Electric Pence is in it to win it - they just want to fill the field with enough empty suits to plausibly claim the vote was split when they steal the nomination from Trump.

Sounds very nonjudgmental, doesn't it? As opposed to saying he's in hiding.

I'm about to try The Potato Hack - three days of eating nothing but cold, unseasoned, boiled potatoes. Pray for me.

The album linked to above is a good start, as is "Nubians Of Plutonia" which is a more traditional jazz album with a cool, early 60s exotica vibe. If you like weird shit, check out the "Heliocentric Worlds..." albums or you could try "Live At Montreux" which has a nice mix of his traditional and way out modes.

He's definitely not for everyone though and, despite the ridiculous, snobbish tone I use for my music posts, I'd never begrudge anyone loving or hating a particular artist.
