The ABC described it as an "incident."
I was going to comment that Javier Milei looks like he plays in a garage rock band but it turns out he actually did for a while. I'd vote for him based on that alone.

What's a "sleeve"?
ME: Wow, Burning Man really sounds like hell on earth.
NORMIE FRIEND: Yeah, I heard all the attendees are trapped in a giant mud pit and dying of ebola.
ME: What?
Fucken Depressive Silence are fucken grouse mate.

It seems like most dungeon synth producers are from Australia. What the hell is going on over there? π€π€ nostr:npub13azv2cf3kd3xdzcwqxlgcudjg7r9nzak37usnn7h374lkpvd6rcq4k8m54 nostr:npub1p3q90x8quww274xjkggc0xap665k2yymzwyl54w6tweqmktt5ksqfv9t86
Yeah howzitgarnorrite? Grab yerself a beer and check out this fucken sick dungeon synth mix I made.

It's a real answer and a bit of a joke about Tasmanians. Lots of weirdos living in forests down there and they punch above their weight when it comes to black metal bands.

I have no idea but if I had to guess I'd say Tasmanians.

I don't want to get my or anyone else's hopes up... but nostr:npub1p3q90x8quww274xjkggc0xap665k2yymzwyl54w6tweqmktt5ksqfv9t86 hasn't been online for a while and he mentioned a bit ago bidding on a a bunker compound type thing and starting some sort of off-grid progrock cult.

Alas, the compound fell through. We almost had the financing in place but someone else beat us to it. The cult is meeting at my place on Sunday to discuss our next move and whether Procupine Tree count as prog.
I quit all caffeine a few years ago and have never looked back. I sleep better and it's nice to not have to take regular hits of a drug to keep myself feeling "normal."

That track's not an outlier, either - the whole album sounds pretty much like that. They were way, way ahead of their time.
And here they are at their Fall-worshipping best. They really a shabby kind of charm when Gary was in the band that was lost once they became respectable.
Damn. Gary did just drum - he owned the studio where Pavement recorded their early EPs and first album, some of the best music made in the 90s.

Not disagreeing, but what in particular strikes you as sinister?
This clip of Vanilla Fudge on the Ed Sullivan show is so insane you'd almost think it was a parody of they weren't so damn good.

Lol, I was about to add that I didn't want to come across as ungrateful because I sure as shit couldn't create anything like it.
