Adulthood is being able to open your presents two days early because my wife works today and tomorrow. We opened all our gifts from each other and let me tell you when I say I fucking love my wife. She may not be a bitcoiner, she might roll her eyes when I start talking about it, but that woman loves me and she listens.

She bought me a custom Bitcoin enamel pin for the pin board she got me (I fucking live pins) and she got me a custom hat that says BYOB be your own bank.

Seriously some of the coolest gifts to get from my no-coiner wife.

Can we all just stop for a second and appreciate our significant others for all the shit they put up with being with us?

Seriously I don't think I could have the strength to do what I do without her at my side holding my hand and keeping me strong.

When I told her I wanted to start a podcast she didn't even bat an eye, she said "one about Bitcoin?" And told me that I should do it. God she's just the best. I am so grateful for her presence in my life. I do this for her and for us.

What’s everyone doing

After having a fully working #Lightning setup now - and it DEFINITIVELY works! <3 - I think it's time I move to the next phase of the coin-game.

Learn how to buy something with BTC or sats.

My ultimative project is still to pay for a McDonnalds cheeseburger here in germany with crypto - be it BTC or sats - and I am getting rapidly closer to it.

The reason why I do this? Right now, all my friends think that #Bitcoin is just gambling; trading back and forth, trying to make a profit. Which, to be fair, is something people do. But I want to find out how, and then actually do it, to buy something in real life, with digital money. You could call it my "Project: Crypto-Burger". x)

I heared there are credit cards that can be charged with crypto and then be spent. But, having my own node, I wonder if there is a better way to do so. However, I will keep an emphasis on self-sovereignity; with the idea that if I no longer want anything to do with this, I can just "rm -rf allofit" and be gone. x)

So yeah, thats my future plan. To buy a burger! =)
