Also, I wouldn't worry about post-employment restrictions, even if the company doesn't agree to waive the non-compete, they're difficult to enforce

Just got laid off from my job of over eight years due to the financial landscape we are in. I also signed a no compete last year, only field I know. That’s valid for two years. Good times, wish me luck… 🤡🌎
