Park Supt. George Bartlett orders Mark Robinson to await arrival of coroner tomorrow. Telegraph for undertakers now.

Mark Robinson passes report to Park Supt. Bartlett using the bush telephone: "Body of Tom found. In bad shape. Advise what to do."

Mark Robinson: "Where?" Charlie Scrim: "George Rowe, near Big Wap Island. Floating dead. Recognized his clothes."

Charlie Scrim on shore relays by land the report to Mark Robinson: "They've found Tom's body"

The body floats by the rocky shore of Big Wap Island. Lashed to a tree root so it won't float away.

In a large gathering I have nothing to say, but in the company of friends I am a different man

George and Lowrie tow the body to the shore of Big Wap Island and secure the body. Now wait for the authorities.

George and Lowrie wind their trolling line around the leg. Numerous times, otherwise it will tear into the flesh when they tow.

After days of drizzle it is brightening up. Not a good idea to take the body out of the water into the sun.

Charlie Scrim, on the shore, hears the commotion on the lake. He makes the terrible conclusion. He bursts into tears.

Horrified at the sight. Body bloated, flesh tearing in places. By the clothes Rowe and Dickson are sure it's my body.

Dr. Howland is sure that his daughter's tangled line last night loosened the body causing it to rise.

Geo. Rowe and Lowrie Dickson get closer. Its a loon - it's a body of a man bobbing in the water. Rowe shouts 'It's Thomson's body!'

Dr. GW Howland directs Geo. Rowe and L. Dickson to the dark figure his daughter's line snagged last evening. It's risen to the surface.

Geo. Rowe and Lowrie Dickson notice someone waving on Little Wap Island. It's a Tourist. They canoe over.

Shannon Fraser @mowatlodge has had two shots of whisky after breakfast. But it hasn't taken the edge off anything.

Dr. GW Howland's daughter awakens. Frustrated that her father forced her to let go of the line, she wants to go fishing again today.

I was fascinated with watching the tumbling logs coming through the dams.

Dr. GW Howland sees Geo. Rowe and Lowrie Dickson on the lake. Waves to them to come over.

Geo. Rowe and Lowrie Dickson decide to make it an early morning on the lake. Fishing, but still searching.
