Hey nostr, doing my evening check-in a little early today, as we are going to visit some neighbors later. Earlier I did some trimming on a couple of trees, and also some watering. Then I started prepping my supplies to make some comfrey salve, as I'm running low, and I want to have extra for christmas gifts, and just for me. In the winter my hands get dry, and that stuff sure does help. The rest of the day I was busy with the regular chores around the place.

I dont remember exactly when I started using nostr, it was sometime this year. It was very different from anything I had ever used, and I felt pretty lost. But once I learned about following hashtags, things got much better, and I haven't looked back. The culture here is great, and I have seen examples of amazing generosity to individuals in need. Oh, and I still don't know who has sent me those random, very large zaps, for reasons that are a mystery to me. They are not visible on my nostr account. But whoever you are, know that I am very grateful, and perhaps one day I will be able to give you proper thanks. So yall have a good evening nostr friends. 📽️ Taken about halfway through the TrollTunga hike just as the snow began to clear up and the sun peered through the clouds. There is so much raw beauty out there waiting to be seen we just have to make time to escape from the cubicle prison and lower our time preferences.

Morning Nostriches!

Today has been rumored to be Bloody Monday. Don’t know if that moniker is coming from trolls or people in the know, time will tell on that. No weird meetings have shown on my calendar yet though so that’s a plus.

I kinda lost it this weekend. Trying to put up a brave face, cuz if I do lose my job I have alternatives, it’s not like I’d be homeless, but wow would it be easier to just coast in from where I am right now.

It is the best time of the day though as it’s coffee time!!
