Here in Arg the statist ideas are deeply rooted even in people who don't care or don't think about politics. Many just assume "the state shoud do X,Y and Z" media included.
So people will fight against the privatization of anything even thoug we have a gigantic deficit and the state don't have nough money for the most basic services (under the state logic) like retirement systems.
Is like if we were an man with a crappy job that is not willing to sell his car even though he can't aford to have it, and pays the bills with the money printer and debt. And people just don't want to understand it or propose expropiating the wealth of "the rich"

Don't get me wrong, is just that was so shocked when I knew that research literature that not only goes against what we usually hear and tell oruself but is the exact opposit.
And I believe that this wrong diagnostics is the root cause of a lot of modern problems with regards to relationships 🤔😬

The school of sardines works like a unified organism, usually this happens with a lot of tiny sub elements that follows simple rules like "seek food, avoid predators, keep a fixed distance of everyone else"
The people have this with the market! Like a planet-wide organism coordinated by the pricing system, working as one even of we do not know each other, even if we hate each other 🤯
