Very much agree. The #nostr protocol can thought of as two things:
1. JSON message format that is resistant to forgery.
2. Decentralized distribution network for relaying messages
Putting these two thing together has proven to be quite potent. However, there is more than one way distribute information in a decentralized way, each with interesting tradeoffs.
From time to time, my #bitaxe bb miners get stuck at a very low hashrate, even when the core temp is within acceptable ranges 🤔
A restart usually fixes it, but I’m not always able to catch it very quickly.
So today I whipped up a small script to monitor them and restart if hashrate drops ☺️✨
