I was laughed at when I told a table of poker players that I sent my painter some #sats… while trying to orange pill him. They told me that I gave him something useless that he couldn’t spend. If only they knew what I just gave him. There’s a big up hill to climb still if we want #bitcoin to succeed. But we will win! So what do I mean when I say “sales team”. The people who just won’t shut up about #bitcoin. The ones who tend to subtly steer every conversation back to bitcoin no matter who your talking to. I want to brainstorm as a group how we can work together to increase bitcoin adoption locally. To build the #community we desire.

I said earlier that #motivation can come from anywhere.
An ant carrying a leaf, a wave crashing into sand, or the last leaf on a tree that just won’t fall on a cool windy day. Motivation can come from anywhere and anything so long as the experience prompts a decision that puts you further down the path that you want for yourself. I am not saying that I am the most motivated or confident person by any stretch of the imagination btw lol. But I am trying my best to be. If anyone agrees with anything I have to say and is motivated for a change for the better in their #life.
It should be a no brainer to at least try. #Bitcoin

The goal is to orange pill more people. What we will do at this meet, perhaps different to others, is brainstorm how we can increase bitcoin adoption. I understand that bitcoin has no CEO but I would say bitcoiners more or less work for bitcoin. Work by liking a post, talking about bitcoin, zapping to show your support. So I would argue that bitcoin has a marketing team and a finance team, IT, etc. And I want to find the sales team. Getting someone off zero could be one of the greatest gifts to give someone if bitcoin becomes what we all hope and believe it to become. A pretty good gift imho lol There’s nothing more I enjoy doing than talking to people about bitcoin. Especially when they think it’s trash. What I got from Lyn Alden’s post recently is that it’s good to talk with the opposing opinion. So I want to meet the sales team.
Nothing official yet but just starting to spread the word I guess.

I see you and hear you… I’m curious what others use. I use duck duck go but who knows if that’s really much better but at least it’s NOT google imo.

I believe it is safe to say that any bitcoiners goal for #bitcoin, short or long term, comes from increased adoption.
We should remember this common goal. The bitcoin community brings different sets of skills that should be admired. Some more technical will develop on bitcoin, some post memes, some can bring up bitcoin in any conversation, and some like/zap posts of content creators.
The point is that we all do what we can and every bit helps. Together we are strong!

“Proof of Work” is probably one of my favourite #Bitcoin ‘quotes’.
It’s easy to always expect things to happen right away. Addicted to short term gains. We are growing up in a world where we are used to instant gratification. If my Amazon package can’t be delivered any earlier than tomorrow I get antsy. Through social media and the internet almost everything is just a few clicks away.
I’m writing this as a reminder to myself to always put in the work and that good things take time.
