Lemme tell you all Bitcoiners an exciting and funny story what just happened today.
I started trying to OrangePill my Family way back in 2022, especially my mom and my sister who’s older than me, but they were not interested in Bitcoin at all. Mind you, Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies are mostly viewed as scams in this part of the world.
My lil bro who is in secondary school and he’s intelligent too.
Long story short: He makes funny of me, calling me names like Mr Bitcoin or saying that I work at Bitcoin( like It’s a company) or sometimes calling me a “scammer” I know that’s how me and my lil bro chill, we call each other names and bully each in some way, but deep down I hate it when he calls me those names. I tried to explain to him about Bitcoin a long time ago when he asked me what is Bitcoin and how it really works, he gasped a little bit on it but He didn’t really get it. I gave Him a digital copy of the Bitcoin standard and others bitcoin books and materials to read inorder to fully understand it.
It’s been a while, he told me recently that he finished reading the Bitcoin standard and today He just came to my room and He was like “ bro! Help me open a bitcoin wallet account and fund it with $10 and he gave me an amount equivalent to it in Malawi kwacha and he said he will keep on saving his money in Bitcoin coz He will need that money when he finishes secondary school next year.
Of all the people I have orangepilled , this is the most valuable and important orangepill I have done so far, Yeah! It is because it’s my Little Brother, my family!
