the greedy government will use any chance they can to keep their power over countries and to keep their old systems in order. I have not experienced halvings so I don’t know the mood beforehand but it feels that now more then ever after three cycles that people are counting on the halving for the price to go up. I often worry about this kind of things where people will say the government cannot tax you if you do such and such but if the blockchain is transparent and they see that such a thing has transpired the greedy suits will use that as enough evidence maybe for grounds to follow through with such a tax just because such an event transpired regardless if you say you don’t have that bitcoin anymore. what will happen when they say no bitcoin like they did with gold? Gold back in the day gave opportunity for anyone to go pan for it. With a mix of regulation and industrialization gold is more monopoly. Will the same happen with tech? I’m very curious to know the future for bitcoin and technology, even though we have seen the price proven over the cycles the future is always uncertain. Best to not let greed overtake you. Will bitcoin become something else or will the same pattern play out where they take your gold and then charge you 30% plus on it plus tax. NA needs to separate money from the state.
