It doesn’t matter what the next global medium of exchange is. The people you don’t like will use it. Wether it be XMR, BTC or something else entirely.
One of the most underrated qualities of bitcoin is that even those who are last to get in will still benefit from the protocol. Using a truly finite currency will allow those late adopters to focus on their craft and save for the future without speculating on “investments”.
