i finally fully completed the first training flight in BMS! i think landing the falcon is a bit difficult, it's not like the f-15c in DCS where you can pretty much just put the flight path marker somewhere on the marker and you'll probably survive, but i managed to get one smooth landing in!

Had to do some touch ups but it ended up making the touched up areas look a bit more shiny so now it doesnt look as good as i was hoping it would :(

i really need to invest in some spray primer because every model i make without fail i manage to chip off a bit of paint and need to touch it up and i think "wow i really need to invest in some spray primer" but then i don't because i am an actual dunce

the trick is to stare at the pot for like 10 hours and then turn your back for a nanosecond, at which point the water will be at a rolling boil and also overflowing from the pot.

i have looked at bajillions of photos of f-35s just to figure out if the "z13" overcoat still has the light grey RAM or not.

i THINK it does in areas that'd be easy to paint (such as the trailing edge of the elevators, leading edge of the wings and intakes, etc), with the other bits that used to have it being the same colour as the main body but without the metallic sheen. that said, because of how unique of a finish the f-35 has, it's fucking impossible to confidently say if this is true or not because sometimes it all blends into one color and sometimes it's a very stark difference

i should really buy a dash cam one of these days
