Mt Gox moves 47,228 BTC ($2.71 billion dollars) from cold storage to a new wallet.

If women do not depend on a man, they will depend on the state.
This year, 2024, for the first time in U.S. history, more than 50% of American women over the age of 30 are single, childless, and broke.

France 🇫🇷: Emmanuel Macron has been asked to avoid the electoral campaign in France because he is very unpopular.
Since calling for early parliamentary elections on 06/09, the French president has been absent from the airwaves and public rallies.
His own centrist coalition has removed his face from campaign literature due to his low approval ratings. Members of the alliance have referred to these actions as the “de-Macronization” operation.

Bitcoin is for everyone

🚨 Mt. Gox wallets are making small #Bitcoin transactions today.
Some went to an entity identified by Arkham as the Bitbank exchange, which is involved in the upcoming creditor repayments.
These were likely test transactions, in preparation for the real payments in July.

NEW: Hashprice is close to hitting all-time lows 😮
#Bitcoin Mining has never been more competitive, only the most efficient will survive.

🚨USA 🇺🇸: Research published by the "Daily Mail" newspaper indicates:
D.Trump: 49%
K.Harris: 38%
A difference of 11%
To get an idea of the magnitude of this difference, the last time a candidate had a lead of 10% or more was Ronald Reagan in 1984, who defeated Walter Mondale by a margin of 18.2%
GOOD MORNING NOSTR, STAY HUMBLE AND STACK SATS! 🫡
🚨USA 🇺🇸: Joe Biden
"I am running. I am the leader of the Democratic Party. No one is pushing me out."
He said he would not be forced out of the race, according to a senior advisor, as reported by the "Associated Press."
United Kingdom 🇬🇧: This Thursday (4th), the British are heading to the polls to elect a new parliament, and consequently, a new government.
The Labour Party (left) is the favorite to win the elections, while the Conservative Party (after 14 years in power) risks suffering the biggest defeat in its history.
The big question mark lies with Nigel Farage's "Reform Party." How many seats in parliament can they secure, and could they potentially surpass the Conservative Party to take second place? The Liberal Democrats (center-left) also see a possibility of reaching second place.
🚨 Just to join in the fun, the United States government also moved $14.4 million in Bitcoin hours ago.
For now, the coins haven't entered exchanges (apparently) and remain parked in an intermediary address.
It could just be a reorganization as well.

GM!
The German government sent around 300 bitcoins to the exchanges Coinbase, Kraken, and Bitstamp — another possible $17 million sale.
This brings the total to 3,000 bitcoins over the past two weeks, but the government still holds over 47,000 bitcoins.
But where did these bitcoins come from?
An investigation into the owners of the piracy site movie2k.to, which operated until May 2013, led to the police seizing 50,000 bitcoins.
The two main operators are accused of distributing more than 880,000 pirated copies of movies and running an illegal streaming service between the fall of 2008 and May 2013.
One of the operators, the programmer of movie2k.to, and a real estate entrepreneur from Berlin have been in custody since November 2019.
The portal's profits, obtained through advertising revenue and fraudulent subscriptions, were used by the operators to buy bitcoins starting in mid-2012.
The investigations were conducted in collaboration with the German Federal Criminal Police Office and the FBI.
Bitcoin purchases in 2012 — when the price was around $10 — resulted in a “profit” of approximately 600,000% at the current #bitcoin price.
