Zero cost/no quality incentive is how email turned into a sea of spam. If there could be a fair way to solve for that by setting up some simple incentive structure for DMs, would be cool.
Interesting idea. How would a good faith actor get their collateral back? The DM recipient hitting some kind of “not slop/scam” button?

Haven’t watched it in some time (I should again) so can’t specifically comment on the issues you point out…but in general I really enjoyed it, and I can forgive some plot shortcuts for something so aesthetically pleasing.

Yeah, I do get it if someone’s income or business depends on some degree of Twitter engagement…but it seems like at a minimum, influencers wanting to move but holding out could start posting first to Nostr and then elsewhere a few days later where the post won’t inherently be stale if delayed (eg reacting to breaking news).
Incentivize dedicated followers to move.
