Here's one of the best advice, coming from one of the best leaders in the financial world there is today. And it works for both team members in the workplace, and customers your organization might encounter.

Quote: “You should fire the assholes,” he added. “It only takes a few of ’em to destroy a meeting.” UnQuote.

To put it another way, when you have a good product, and know what you and your team are doing, never work with the ones that need to be fired.

by 2027; MiCA and other "AMLR-like" regulations within the EU, UK, Australia and other nation states will come into force for KYC identification of crypto wallets (send/receive).

while jurisdictions such as Turkey, Dubai and Northern Cypress remains to be seen over time, it is now evidently clear that the corporate-point strategy will become the de rigueur protocol for taxation-driven anonymity.

this also implies the minimum value threshold to which any particular wallet will hold to cover anticipated trading, transaction processing and now regulatory compliance (corporate pass-through) overheads.

the commercial opportunity for custodians now opens up for wallet values below this threshold. very unfortunately, this creates, within the same window, a gap where criminals, scams and clowns in general will take advantage of to conduct fraud.

Please, be vigilant.

this is not an attempt to talk down bitcoin. this is to highlight the writing on the wall and the need for something to be done to preserve the asset value of bitcoin.

China Breaks New Ground in Quantum Code Cracking—Raising Alarms About Global Data Security

Introduction:

While AI advancements continue to capture public attention, a recent breakthrough in quantum cryptology by Chinese researchers may pose an even more immediate risk to global cybersecurity. Professor Wang Chao and his team at Shanghai University have factored a 90-bit RSA integer using a quantum computer, marking a major leap toward the feared “Q-Day”—the moment when quantum machines could break today’s encryption standards.

Key Details:

• The Breakthrough:

• Using a D-Wave Advantage quantum computer, Wang Chao’s team successfully factored a 90-bit RSA integer—a feat previously thought unattainable with current quantum technology.

• RSA encryption, foundational to much of modern digital security, relies on the difficulty of factoring large integers—a difficulty that quantum computing is rapidly eroding.

• What Quantum Cryptology Involves:

• Quantum cryptology merges quantum mechanics with traditional encryption techniques, enabling new forms of both code-making and code-breaking.

• The fusion of quantum computing and AI could soon unlock the ability to break nearly all classical encryption methods.

• The Implications for Q-Day:

• Experts have long warned of “Q-Day,” the point at which quantum computers will be powerful enough to render existing public-key encryption obsolete.

• This breakthrough suggests that the timeline to Q-Day may be shorter than previously predicted, placing critical infrastructure, financial systems, and personal communications at risk.

• Global Ramifications:

• Governments and corporations worldwide may need to accelerate the adoption of post-quantum cryptography—encryption methods designed to withstand quantum attacks.

• The achievement highlights the urgency for a coordinated global response to secure sensitive data against emerging quantum threats.

Why It Matters:

This milestone underscores that quantum threats are not a distant possibility but a rapidly approaching reality. With each new breakthrough, the safety of current encryption systems grows more precarious. Now more than ever, developing and implementing quantum-resistant security protocols is essential to protect the world’s digital infrastructure. China’s advance signals that the quantum race is heating up—and the time to act is now.

Recent turmoil on various financial markets have tested an important milestone; where, should money go when the reserve reference value of the US Dollar demonstrates considerable risks.

Other than the Swiss, Euro, and Japanese currencies, the flight to gold as the default failsafe is again shown to gain stature among investors and asset custodians worldwide.

The emergence of bitcoin as a digital counterpart to alternative currencies and gold now seems to strike a balance between risk and return.

Gold on its own, when it is not encumbered to any financial instrument, does not earn a return via a dividend, currencies do.

Will bitcoin continue to be elevated into greater mainstream recognition as the next viable version of a robust currency that is essentially free from the influence of any single governmental entity?
