Hit a new low weight on my diet crossing another double digit mark. Its only a few fractions of a pound below my last low, but still nice to see the double digits roll down.

I cant help but feel my progress is a bit too slow though. Ive lost about 16 lbs in 2 months and i feel the pacing could be much greater.

Cant help with that, if i try running kotlin i get totally different errors, so clearly kotlin isnt ready for prime time.

So i jsut tried it, changed nothing, not even the quotes, and it worked fine for me. try the groovy version not the kotlin one thts the standard way

Well its a hard thing to test experimentally.

But the reason here is just energy, gravitational waves have energy, so they must have their own gravitational field.

Interesting fact of the day: A gravitational wave, having energy, also generates its own gravitational field in addition to itself. Though this field is insanely weak.

Depends on the person. No doubt this does explain some of them. But it is hardly the majority.

Take myself as a prime counter example. I worked as a COVID-19 research scientist. I beleive that if you dont take the vaccine you are a complete and utter moron. Regardless I am against mandatory vaccines. Most people ont he left screamed anti-vaxxer at me, when clearly i was pro-vaccine, they just refused to hear any nuance in my stance.

This is what the left routinely does, what you just did. Pretend like you hear an argument which isnt the argument being made (or made by a small minority) and then turnt he toxicity up to 11. The truth is most people who were against mandatory vaccines and labled an anti-vaxxer weren't even against vaccines, at all. You magnify the 1% most idiotic of the other argument and then pretend like its the majority. Worst yet, its a lie repeated so often people believe it.

While I know there are plenty of examples of land, particularly historically, being bought and sold to other countries. Like Alaska was bought from Russia, the US Virgin Islands from the Dutch, etc. But is there any examples, particularly in semi-modern history, of an **individual** buying sovereignty over a piece of land from another nation? I mean why should the country care who they sell to as long as they get the money.

I figure the hard part would be defending the land as a single owner. Of course in practice im not sure countries sell land all to often these days.
