Good morming nostrword! It's coffee time, the time when I loosely plan my day, knowing other things will come up and demand attention. I have a few errands in town, then I really need to get my little kale starts planted. Indoors, I've got laundry going, then I must start thinking about what dish we'll be taking to Thanksgiving. We wont be hosting Thanksgiving, so we have to drive a few hours to get to a cousin's house.

Good morning nostrworld! Looking forward to seeing sunshine today, I need my sunshine. I might need 2 cups of coffee this morning, as I overslept a bit and have lots to do. I want to do a little house cleaning, and also get some of my veggie starts in the ground. Then I need to decide where I want to plant my new, tiny little bur oak tree. Its a big decision because these trees can live hundreds of years, and get very large. So I hope I am able to give it a good start. I think I mentioned recently that my husband planted a bur oak about 15 yrs ago, and we finally saw our first acorn on it. Talk about low time preference. Good morning nostrworld! Enjoying my coffee and listening to the rooster crowing (no, I havent put him in the cookpot yet). Looking forward to getting some pecans tomorrow, from a friend who has large pecan trees, but she and her husband just dont want the pecans. They are my favorite, I can eat some every day. I offered to pay her, because they did go out and bag them up for us, but of course she said no. So I might just give her some of my homemade soap or comfrey salve.
