What would be recommendation for lightweight Nostr relay software that people could host even on Raspberry Pi with main aim to just preserve posted content of you and your friends (list of whitelisted npubs)?

Not gonna lie, I’m enjoying the latest blue-bird Nostr alternative. Seems to run very smoothly on iOS.

Downsides: no zaps sadly, assume this is because of Apple, also no NIP-05 self verification or website links in the profile (Damus still got the edge there).

Great to see healthy competition though. Thanks to nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgstw3r3l for sharing the link and the buildrs.

Appreciate his honesty and telling his story. I don’t doubt that it has echos familiarity to many around the world. Damn shame that we got here and that our leaders (all of them) seem to be openly ignorant of the struggles. Fiat thinking makes turning a blind eye so easy.

Yeah I am fast realising that platform is just not a valuable place to spend my time. Basically only go there now for spaces and to catch the general “what is going on” from a few key folks.

So many adverts 🤮, literally every other message in the feed. The noise to signal ratio is off the charts!

Bitcoiners need to be vigilant in the coming months and years. With the recent news in Argentina and mainstream media immediately labelling Javier Milei “Far-right” Bitcoin is at risk of being politicised into a box that it is bigger than.

Bitcoin is for everyone irrespective of your political views. It is not the property of, nor aligned with any party or movement, except that freedom of money should be universal and available to all.

Watching the Stanford Smallville experiment where 25 generative agents (now open sourced) form emergent relationships and complex behaviours.

“Imagine” this experiment as the 8 billion humans on this planet and the emergent complex behaviour of all of us!

It’s hard not to consider 1) the simulation hypothesis, 2) what are the probabilities that our current reality (with manipulated money) would play out if the “game” was played at scale with constraints around resources and technological advances 3) what the emergent complex behaviour of that world would look like with an honest ledger, and 4) what would the transition look like from dishonest money to honest money. (As a small number of “NPC’s” knew about #Bitcoin, and others didn’t or trusted their existing institutions could fix the problem).
