Anyone else having really slow loading on Nostr lately (I'm using latest version of Amethyst)

Pictures and notes on my feed load almost immediately but the npubs they belong to take up to a minute to load. It used to all load smoothly. Could this be due to bad relay management or something?

I just joined and that has been my first impression as well. Not sure if that is “normal” but not fast enough to retain newcomers I’d say

Get a remote job in the USA and move there. Best wages in the world still. No tax on foreign income as an El Salvador resident and qualify for FEIE in the USA if spend 330 days a year there.

First impression of nostr.. it seems quite slow.

Search is also very loose. Only a few results that don’t match very well.

I am a newcomer who is interested, but I fear normies will not make it through the onboarding experience.
