Bitcoin is the tool, the savings technology that gives us as actors the foundation to take risks.
We have to take risks to build the world we want to see. The bright orange future doesn't happen by itself.
I discovered some receipts from the early days of Bitcoin. I sent this to a friend in a DM in late May of 2013.
This was back when buying #bitcoin was really difficult. Reading the message, it sounds like I had already custodied the coins, but I hadn't at that point..I don't think I ever did get the coins. Reading through the conversation it appears we had purchased roughly a whole coins worth. That is likely gone forever.
