Summer doldrums
great time to stack sats
Bitcoin and Nostr force governments to pay attention.
We are in the early innings. Stay f***ing humble
the idea of internet friends is a two decade plus old idea.
what about web of trust can we do different?
I got the idea for some type of "IRL friend" connection. where in order to be friends or follow someone you need to physically exist in the same space as the other person to share your contact with them.
I think with cryptography and Nostr this is entirely reasonable.
Who is the Tom from Myspace on #nostr?

I like how every four years of my adult life, in the land of the free and the home of the brave, people come together to make memes, campaign, and share ideas about voting to make the world a better place.
That's really what folks know needs to happen, we can sense that things are not normal. Voting has worked in the past, and we have been trained that it is how we should fix the problems we see in the world. It's honestly a pretty good spot to be in, we could be forced to get involved in a bloody revolution or rebellion..but I believe humanity has moved beyond that option.
Presidential cycles clearly are not going to increase the freedom and prosperity of the United States. There's only one thing that stands any chance, proof of work.
heat wave coming to the Midwest this week.
I'm currently watching videos of a snow storm from last winter.
it's so interesting how fondly we humans think of the opposite situations we're in. perpetual "grass is always greener" syndrome.

In what ways can nostr act as a proof-of-human network as we move into the age of artificial intelligence?
The superior value of this protocol is just that, we can be the alternative to centralized platforms that can't and won't act as proof of human.
That's why I always leave the door open when I take a dump π

nice yellows, instant follow.
Nostr needs more foresters, firefighters, and natural resource managers!
welcome to the future. π₯π₯
Hey Nostr.
this protocol might be the protocol we use for proof of identification in the future.
all our notes are uniquely our own, and we can prove that.
maybe this isn't a good place to say a bunch of stuff you might regret, or maybe it is that idk..but it's definitely an important thing to think about.
once it runs its course it does seem to go away quickly. I'm at day 6 or 7 since the exposure, should be soon.
been using topical cortisone as well.
I'm skeptical that this expired prednisone is working at all on this poison ivy. it's been 3 days, the reaction hasn't gotten terribly worse, but it isn't going away.
if someone looks you dead in the eye and says they smoke meth, they're probably not lying.
