Lytton had a Tmin of 18.7C and Lilloeet 17.2c (but 19.7C hourly Tmin !). Those are rare even in summer,in spring they happened just once

Just in: Jacobabad in Pakistan recorded 49.0C today, this is the new 2023 highest temperature in the Northern Hemisphere, as forecast last week by your author.
Fortunately It won't get much higher though,we are far from the brutal levels of May 2010 (53.5C Moen Jo Daro).

Harsh heat wave in SW China with temperatures today rose to 41.3C in Yunnan Province at Yuanyang and 40.6C in the Guangxi Province at Longlin.
