Ok, so, DOGE can point out the waste and provide all the relevant information. But Congress has to vote on those. So, the Reps and Senators have to be questioned, why and how they are voting, and held them accountable. As Senator Rand Paul has pointed out Biden admin's 1 trillion dollars waste. So, folks have to held them accountable from their respective constituencies, and vote them next time, if they fail to do the right things.

Ok, so, Told you, spoon feeding the people is not the job of the state. It has to create a conducive environment for people to earn their living and prosper themselves.
That's why..
1) Safety and security - People should feel safe at their homes and at the streets, workplaces. Making sure their properties are safe, their shops are safe from shoplifters and robbers.
2) Remove all the redundant rules and regulations. So that businesses can be run more easily and efficiently. As the productivity increases, then there will be no need for govt aid, when no aids are required, then least tax is required.
3) Solid foundational level work required. Such as energy independence, healthy population, real work related professional education etc They can hugely reduce cost.
