Okay so let's say everyone is happy and bitcoin is succeeding. The jealous losers in government are upset about it, and like a jealous ex, they try to hurt us. They set off multiple EMPs to disrupt our network.

Good morning nostrworld! Time for morning coffee and making plans for the day. Its Friday, so we'll be visiting the resale shop, and hopefully find some good stuff. Our resale shop has gottten busier and busier, I guess because their prices really are very reasonable. Plus I've seen re-sellers from out of town buy a bunch of stuff. But the proceeds get put back into the local economy, so its good. That reminds me, I need to check to see when my next volunteer day is.

After that, we'll see what I will start on next. Maybe I'll start a few tree cuttings today. And trim up the trails, and go get mulch. But one thing at a time.

#Bitcoin  argument with a friend that couldn't understand how I could trust a system when I don't know who created it.

I told him: that's the point. I don't have to know, I just have to look at the math behind.

He said: yea but what if that person secretly controls the system and changes the math.

I said he can't because we all independently run our own version of the math.

He said yea but still what if the founder has some sort of secret trick.

I despair.

Is this really such a hard concept to grasp?

If all you do is follow the herd, you'll just be stepping in poop all day. Sometimes on the journey, you step in dog poop. But you don't let the whole journey be about the fact that your shoe got poop on it. One side sticks to the facts, and the other side is close to playing with its poop. 💩
