Which clients are showing zaps on posts correctly? I've tried zapping from iris, snort and amethyst.
I think it only shows up correctly if the receiving wallet is set correctly to support it.

It's a big hammer and not an actual solution. Hopefully the respective devs will fix it.
On Amethyst, when you login you can paste your public key instead of your private key. Then it won't have write access.
Choose one to use with just your public key to avoid them stepping on each other.
