The option to filter global by paid relays on Damus is a game changer. I’m finding lots of people who followed me that I had not followed back and posts from noobs needing help. Please take the time to help newcomers learn how everything works.

Depending on your Nostr client you will have a feed for people you follow and another for everyone and everything else often called global. I’m using Damus on iPhone and the meme joke was referring to all of the SPAM that was there before the option to filter by paid relays. I was able to come across your post because I filtered my global feed to paid relays only where spammers won’t pay to gain access and therefore there is no SPAM.

It’s sort of like this if you’re going to the global feed.
