just had the most treacherous dream. i’m so glad it’s over now.

i presume it was inspired by (finally) watching Black Swan last night before picking up my dad from (the wrong) train station.

my parents have always demanded excellence from me, so just a tiny mistake, even now, still sets them into an ugly mood towards me.

this stage of my life has been about choosing my own expectations. as you can guess, it’s entirely freeing.

though i still choose to hold myself to a basic standard of excellence, it hits differently. the joy doesnt feel like the warm sun shining on me when i make the right move, instead it feels like the heat of a thousand suns shining within me. i feel it radiate all throughout my being, and it often brings tears to my eyes.

thank you god for allowing this time to be truly mine to shine. to radiate. to love deeply.

even more, thank you god for sending me little tests along the way to ensure i’ve learned the lesson of this chapter.

i surrender to the pain I’ve once endured without reason, and in this, i allow it to transform into more joy, more love, more depth in life.

The hardest part of the #Bitcoin journey is sideways price action. Change my mind.

Most folks still stack All World ETFs, which is fine. But seriously, why the hell don’t they realize that just a 1-5% allocation to #Bitcoin could seriously level up their real returns?

Every time I bring it up in a Subreddit, I get absolutely slaughtered and downvoted.

Bitcoin is still a currency and a form of money, not just an asset or digital property. That’s one of the misleading narratives saylor presents to the world, but imo this is incorrect. Bitcoin will continue to be used as money in many regions such as Africa and the Middle East. It will render many worthless currencies, like the Argentine Peso or Turkish Lira obsolete but the US Dollar will endure.

Some of you may dislike me for saying this, but #Bitcoin and the United States Dollar will coexist. The United States is the superpower of the world and the center of innovation, and it will continue to hold that position.

The big reason we all feel so comfortable here on NOSTR is simple: we’re with our people.

So many of the best Bitcoiners are here, and that alone is huge. But it’s not just that—because, at one point, we had that on Twitter too. There’s something extra about NOSTR, something that makes it feel different.

The secret sauce isn’t just the presence of the people who’ve dedicated their lives to Bitcoin. It’s the ones who got so fed up with legacy social media that they switched off everything and came here. To a new, emergent protocol that barely worked half the time.

Sure, NOSTR is a lot better now. But think about what it took to get here: figuring out this platform, using something no one else has ever heard of, dealing with its quirks. That’s a special kind of person.

It’s the same humility and curiosity we see in people who took the time to figure out Bitcoin. And when you add that to a protocol like this, it creates something unique. Something real.

I feel so comfortable here. I let loose, I’m myself—even though, ironically, you can’t delete anything here. But there’s a strange kind of freedom in that.

Among my people, it feels right.
