I recorded an hour of my voice today, ready to be cloned if needed.

During this hour I read some essays, joked, laughed, and shared my own takeaways from life.

Why?

In case I drop dead tomorrow and my kids never get a chance to talk to me.

This way they can clone my voice and talk to “me”.

But, even more importantly, perhaps digital immortality will be possible in a very near future, or even biochemical. Perhaps a voice will be needed to complete a clone of me.

This may be weird, and not for everyone. I’m not even sure if it’s a good idea (seems like it may not be). But, I did it anyway, just in case. Whoever finds it can decide for themselves whether they wish to bring me back to life.
