I’m not on anything but primal..

Not aimlessly scrolling Instagram and FB and TikTok but finding information is why I enjoy NOSTR..

My wife doesn’t give 2 fucks about social media or the outside world..

I had the opposite in my previous relationship where she could of been the founder of OF if she tried with her content 🤣🤣

At one stage I had around 30 sets of golf clubs..

Was my SOV.. then had my mental breakdown after a hit on my life and sold everything and bought BTC.. haha!

Those precious SATS are now secured with coinbase obviously.. because they are such good actors and would never rug anyone.. 🤣🤣

When I first met my now wife, neither of us had Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat etc.

My wife and I believe that this was a large contributing factor to the success of our relationship during the early days.

There was no temptation to deep dive into each others past and make judgement calls with no context. We made more time for each other without the distractions of social media and our privacy values aligned which made for a solid start to our relationship.

Nostr is using up more of my bandwidth than I’d like at the moment with its ‘shiny new thing’ appeal but I think it’s going to stay in my life for the short term at least. There is way too much alpha here and zapping is fucking awesome! It’s much easier to dip in and out of than other social apps / protocols / platforms and chatting to mostly anons is great.

If you were just starting to date someone and they had no social media footprint online at all or a very small online presence would you classify it as a:

So my journey if you wanna call it with religion and death has been a strange one..

I was brought up semi religious from maybe 8-13 - went to kids church but I actually enjoyed the people more than anything else..

Then my cousin went A wall and my mom turned heavy into Christianity and forced it upon us and my personality isn’t such that I like to be told what to do - so I pushed back..

Then decided it’s easier for me to not have a standing point on it..

But when I use to drive 100 miles a day back and forth to work I had plenty time to think.. I wondered if I die now - what happens? Do I go to hell or heaven or nowhere - and not having concrete evidence and believing in blind faith in my opinion didn’t cut it..

I almost wanted to listen to Peter Schiff on his gold podcast and then thought maybe religion is better.. thankfully then I go home and snapped outta it..

But yeah.. death is an odd one..

The thing is.. imagine being close to the money printer and having no BTC knowledge - I think every human being will take advanateg of that… varying degrees person to person but I don’t think anyone in government who truly understands BTC will stay there for very long - is there anyone from where I’m from? NOT A FUCK!! I’m not that clued up on the USA situation and other places but sure don’t believe you can work knowing BTC and what it stands for..

Houses where I am from more than 98% of them have not grown in the last 15 years to keep up with true inflation… 2019 sold a house for $250k - total that house is worth $235k and the property taxes and HOA fees have increased 10% yearly..
