Notice those who promote Youngkin never mention what he’s done as governor. As a part-time resident of Virginia these days, nobody in Virginia can name very much.
Update: Youngkin lost the GOP majority state assembly last election. Not sure he can deliver Virginia. That said, I’m voting Trump no matter who he picks. But if people are promoting Youngkin they need to provide some actual, substantive information. That’s not asking too much. They’ll now google and dig, but little comes to mind when he’s mentioned. Just a fact.

Rubio and the 12th amendment
Unless Rubio moves out of Florida and/or legally assumes residence in a state other than Florida he can’t be selected as President Trump’s vice presidential running mate. Trump is also a resident of Florida. It also assumes Rubio would resign from the Senate as Florida’s senior senator as he’d no longer be a resident of Florida and could no longer represent the citizens there.
I doubt this constitutional sleight of hand would go down well with lots of people even if he pulled it off.
