I think folks that think they may get censored by relays or just want a backup they control will probably run their own private relay for just their content.

At least until there’s some way for clients and or relays to allow people to subscribe to blocklists that filter the posts they see

Is spam like this more of a relay problem or client problem? Both?

I’m sure maintaining good filtering as a relay provider will save a lot of cost.

But as long as no one is following the accounts tied to those publishing porn is there work to do on the client side to recognise those same accounts so users can ask for those tagged accounts to be filtered out of replies and DMs?

I am shocked that Twitter is blocking the exits like they are. I really didn’t think Elon would do that.

I’ve been using http://astral.ninja which has a better interface for adding profile info and multiple relays (as far as I’ve found so far)
