Video footage shows the 200-mile funeral procession for Chris Kyle, the famous "American Sniper," from Midlothian to Austin.
Kyle was a Navy SEAL who completed four tours in Iraq, with 160 confirmed kills. He received many awards, including a Silver Star and multiple Bronze Stars for bravery.
Tragically, on February 2, 2013, Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield were murdered at a shooting range in Texas by Eddie Ray Routh, another Iraq War vet struggling with severe PTSD.
Kyle had intended to help mentor Routh and chose a gun range for their first meeting. During the drive there, Kyle and Littlefield realized how unstable Routh was, exchanging texts about his concerning behavior.
At the range, Routh suddenly grabbed two guns and shot both men multiple times, killing them instantly.
