I get where some folks are coming from on this and I listened to #[5] grill you on it. That said I was a noob a year ago who started in shit coin land. I was mostly introduced to Bitcoin by your show (and a friend). I saw your adverts but as an adult I know that much of advertising is like fiat. It’s all a conflict of interest.
Those that actually listen to your show quickly hear nearly every guest and you talk about not shitcoining and “not your keys not your coins”. In less than a year I went from being a shitcoiner to Bitcoin maxi. Almost all rabbit holes I went down came from something your show talked about or guests you had on. My point here is keep doing what you are doing AND I encourage you (just as Matt did) to improve further. Check out value for value. Where is your Patreon and how can I help pay for the show to reduce need for fiat advertisements? Let’s improve Bitcoin and the world together and thanks for all you Danny and the rest of the team do.

What a timeless and well written piece. I will be using this to try to help some of my family and friends who haven’t gotten off zero yet.
I’ve been running umbrel for about 6 months. Everything appears to be working perfectly including Electrs.
Started running Sparrow a few months ago for the mixing using my node through TOR connected to Electrs. Worked perfect until about a month ago and now I am seeing the red exclamation above my wallets (i.e.) the failed loading transaction history error. I’ve restarted Sparrow, restarted Umbrel, and SSH’d in to restart Bitcoin core, Lightning and Electrs multiple times to no avail. Umbrel and all apps appear to be up to date.
Any ideas from those familiar with Umbrel and Sparrow?

Nothing fancy just regular drip. Sometimes espresso but too busy for that most days. Always drink my coffee black. To me there is a world of difference between medium and dark. Maybe try a different bean if your medium tastes as bitter as dark. Although everyone has different tastes as well.
