I’m not Mormon but when I found out that the Mormons are out here posting their entire book on #nostr I got hyped.
Yeah, freedom means that freedom of religion is included.
The beautiful part about freedom is that if you don’t want to hear about a particular religion or whatever someone is talking about you can “mute” and go on with your life and never have to think about it again.
The other person can still speak freely and you can still speak freely but you aren’t forced to hear what the other person is saying nor are you restricted from seeing what the Mormons are saying if that’s the content that you are interested in.
If you both agree to a conversation then you are both free to speak openly as well.
You choose your own adventure. You choose what you hear, say, watch, read and engage with, that’s freedom.

You know what’s funny? I don’t even like social media personally but I’m an extrovert so I just talk to whomever I want to when I feel like it in person or on the phone.
My best friend gave me a new perspective on social media because she isn’t an extrovert. It makes her feel connected to the world without having to be out and about.
It gave me a new perspective because I was only seeing the world through my own eyes.
I do care about #freedom and I do want to support those who are working towards increasing individual liberties around the globe.
If that comes in a form of social media, so be it.
I want #nostr to be a success because I want freedom to have a chance.
