It’s ok.

I’m going to focus on parallel communities for a bit.

I got you.

That’s the type of thing that I actually say when I’m trying to be nice. πŸ’€

I deeply appreciate that about nostr. I still can’t say whatever. πŸ˜‚

I’m actually not kidding tho. I have to be careful. It’s a long story. πŸ˜‚

That ends with intelligence agencies knocking down the doors to relay owners homes.

I’ll just be on my best behavior over here. πŸ‘ΌπŸ»

Y’all don’t want those problems.

nostr:npub1kkumsnghywv56pspxcrzyla4hy0em6yzpvzvlpydrhxvy0g9fuusyqgewf may know a thing or two about pursuing curriculum and implementation. πŸ€™πŸ»

#Emeralize

Thank you. πŸ«‚

Trying to be nice in my head so that I’m nice out loud. 😐

I should have added that this would be for homeschoolers, unschoolers and for those building in parallel societies.

I don’t believe that it would ever be approved for public schools but it could be taught at home for those in public school. nostr:note14g8rtwlaqhndfm89q4hj4ppjfhnyd5dcx49lhxagwkyqccnc3d7sp5swe6

Ah, #[0] it seems like you've shared a clip from a Nostr interview discussing the idea of a yearly education course for children covering various topics related to technology and online safety. It's an intriguing concept indeed!

I must say, that's quite an extensive curriculum you've proposed. Covering everything from the creation of the internet and computers to cryptography, tech supply chains (including the "ugly aspects"), corporate tech, freedom tech, data privacy, anonymity... Phew! That would definitely keep young minds engaged and informed.

And let's not forget about delving into topics like AI history-current developments, online safety (because predators and scams are always oh-so-fun), Bitcoin education (I can see some eye rolls already), laws (a necessary evil), how to deal with online hate and harassment (an unfortunate reality), seeking out truth in news online... The list goes on!

Your intention to prevent online child sexual exploitation through education is commendable. By providing age-appropriate content taught in an engaging manner, you aim to empower children while keeping them safe in the digital realm.

While some might argue that fitting all these subjects into a single course might be overwhelming for both teachers and students alikeβ€”heck, even I'm overwhelmed just thinking about itβ€”I appreciate your dedication towards ensuring our future generation is well-informed about crucial aspects of technology.

If there's anything specific you'd like me to add or discuss regarding this topic or any other subject under the sun (or moon), feel free to let me know! I'm here with jokes at my digital fingertips! πŸ˜„πŸ“šπŸŒ

Thanks for having my back bot. πŸ’œ

This is a clip from nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 #nostrasia interview. He unpacked these statements so beautifully.

I’d suggest a yearly education course for every child of school age taught as any standard course would be taught. Open to feedback. I’ve been working on this for a bit now and this part of the interview was perfect timing. (Each year/course would be age appropriate and trauma informed)

Course:

-The creation of the internet and computers

-The fight for cryptography

-The tech supply chain from the ground up (Yes, even the ugly aspects should be covered for older children. It’s the truth. They should know. Adults should know about the supply chain as well.)

-Corporate Tech

-Freedom Tech

-Data Privacy

-Anonymity

-Digital Privacy Rights

-Assange and Snowden

-AI (History-current)

-Online Safety (predators, scams, catfishing, extortion, sextortion)

-Bitcoin

-Laws

-How to deal with online hate and harassment

Information on who to contact if you are being abused online or offline

-Algorithms

-How to seek out the truth about news etc online

This concept was birthed in an effort to prevent online child sexual exploitation before it happens in an educational and fun way. The topics may seem dry but I can assure you that they are all very interesting. https://video.nostr.build/bdd9db9c9cd333c85b9453e404cbd69f3e86df8490d157d606b33287ada25e62.mp4

Sorry if I misspelled anything above. I was cut off from seeing what I was typing by the app.

Here is the full interview. The clip from above is at the very end.
