We live in a time with more access to brilliant people and innovation than ever before. With Nostr, there are even fewer layers between myself and other brilliant, intelligent human beings. I've already been deeply inspired in my short time here.

One of the things I find most interesting about bitcoin is that it allows for more pure economic interactions. Allowing humanity to emulate the free market evolutionary process that drives all of life on earth in our monetary system. 🧡🌏

I've noticed this too. Recently when having conversations with people I suspect have a lot of baggage associated with those terms I use "central planning" instead of "socialism".

I think it is more accurate when I'm trying to criticize the paradigm of a small group in control.

That's going to be a bit challenging for me today with the -20°F weather and sheet of ice on the ground.

But I don't believe in excuses. Just going to have to get some sunshine and cold exposure instead 💪🧊❄️☀️

That's a great point. I'm reminded of the subgroup of people who binge True Crime shows and Serial Killer podcasts.

We see the world through the lens of that which we most frequently consume. It doesn't seem like that big of a leap to suggest that this behavior is toxic.

If I saw a talk titled 'How Bitcoin Reduces Government Violence' I'd be giddy to attend.

Coming over here was incredibly eye opening for me. Like a frog in boiling water I did not realize how angry and toxic it had become over there.

I took the leap and came over here and have been blown away with the amount of innovators and positivity. 🧡

I'm territorial about things that I deeply care about, I don't give a damn if that makes me toxic 🙂

To make an analogy, I'm very "territorial" about #bitcoin. If someone criticizes it I feel that it is my duty to defend it.

I'm unapologetically the same with my wife. I don't care about social implications are. I will always defend her, regardless of the social implications.

Who doesn't want to be wanted? Sure, I think it's important to love yourself and be content with who you are with a person. But we all have this desire, I think it's better to be open and honest about it.

That is what has me so excited about Nostr, the constant pessimism and toxicity from many other social media platforms isn't present here.

We get to create this new space defined by optimism and #gratitude let's keep spreading the love 🧡💪💜

Let's make this reality. It's fresh and new, and because of that a greenfield of new cultural opportunities. I'm making a point to spread positivity and optimism with my interactions across this space.

On top of my bitcoin maximalism, I'm going full optimism maximalist.
