Biometric ID is necessary for full rollout of digital currency control of the masses. Say something GOV doesn't like? Click! You are cut off from funds.
nostr:npub1tvpvz4fk5p2uuhwaz3vmrqhxpwtpsg7tswqsx5tzdhpz5n8efdjqq7830g Yes, and you can never change your physical appearance in the same way as updating your password or email. Once you are in the system, you are there for ever.

Non-contact palm vein scanner most probably

nostr:npub12j8k63p637wgkspex0r75eyzkyzne8naxelwr67fv379gh4p6c0q30jxr0 Yes, but how does that make a payment?
nostr:npub1ht0rq2ej339cv0nz4m260llgdq8mz05fwpz4zjc8s7lmtduzq8hq60dyc3 ... yeesh. When I hear "digital ID", that is *not* what I think of!
(in Sweden we've had Bank ID for a long time, with the downside that you need to arrange it via a bank. And there's also a company that's started up to *explicitly* be an option for digital ID if you can't/don't want to have bank ID, with both of them controlled and actually *less* physical details--no finger prints--than say passport)
nostr:npub1pvjfy7nux66ahvnyxnp9gry4pvmsyvptkamwqjuf5g8kzuvz69pq44gy2g I take on board your comments and have changed the post to say Physical ID instead.
The articles says that this technology will initially be used for payments - but I ask, how? How is Amazon going to charge for your purchases using only your palm? Is it going to use an implanted chip, or what?
Digital ID is becoming all the rage, but how invasive is it? Amazon's new palm reader is a case in point. It's easy and fast, but so is using a contactless card, so - why? Should we worry about our physical details being stored in the cloud?
nostr:npub1ht0rq2ej339cv0nz4m260llgdq8mz05fwpz4zjc8s7lmtduzq8hq60dyc3 bummer, hope the day gets better, here in the states, itโs a holiday weekend, you can use my holiday.
nostr:npub12nmnyzsrq35vrs7cfqpzh9q0xyqyheta28c7kwz3hzwzwgltd9xqkyf3ur Oh, our holiday was on Monday, but my day was so similar to other days I hardly noticed. But I feel a bit better already, having had breakfast. Hope your day goes well.
A pinch and a punch for the first of the month.
I hope I'm not the only one who remembers that?
My mother used to say that, every time.

I have rarely felt as bad as this....drinking coffee to wake myself out of this mindless stupor and swallowing painkillers and sinus relief tablets. Let's see how the day progresses.
nostr:npub1qy2d58wev6d5yf24xaweuphrrquwnksh3ytfntkkqr97tzyqefgqadlsht I so agree. Just this morning I had to negotiate several cookie menus, or just click agree which is what they are aiming at, and it's especially annoying that sites I use every day ask me again on every visit. The only exception was The Guardian newspaper that offered, accept or reject all. A pleasant change from the usual.
I am, without any result, trying to discover what would happen if you breathed in fly spray on your pillow overnight.
I have my suspicions about my state of health this morning. I had to zap a fly yesterday in the bedroom and now I am wondering if my aching limbs, swollen glands and tiredness are the result of breathing in the spray that landed on the pillow.
nostr:npub1v78rrnac3vk7sf2gvrzn7redtkd63rqmcr7l0fm65kpq8ljsnv8qyutx9y yep, me too. Can hardly walk or think straight. How about you?
How exactly true is this! True for me almost every day now :(

nostr:npub1xnml9qecf5y59eca6dwfvg66fj4zkcls9la6d2f30szjdamc6tlsyp7sg2 I've never really understood why it's pronounced ZEE in the States. After all, it comes from the Greek Zeta which evolved into the French โzede,โ which gave us โzedโ. Not sure where the ZEE came from.
I heard another of those recent sayings yesterday on a video. I should add it to my list - "glow up" which means making something or someone look better.
And they also used "slap" in the sense of, this is good.
I know I'm old now.
Does anyone do this in less?
