Also, maybe it's just in Catholicism, but isn't there a vow of poverty involved? I think there's something like that for nuns and priests, at least.
Vow of poverty applies almost exclusively to religious order of monks, nuns, etc. I’m betting this would also be the case for Eastern Orthodox/Coptic/Armenian churches, as well.
Celibacy - in the Western/Latin Rite Catholic Church - would be the more universal vow, amongst all clergy.
Losing any semblance of patience with the willfully ignorant is a big challenge in your 40s.
TBF, I turned 40 a few weeks before the plandemic, so there was a deluge.

I’ve been witnessing just this the last 20 years or so. Small niches of families with 4-6 kids, whose grandkids will outnumber large numbers of their contemporaries grand kids.
It gives me hope.
Children & family are the meaning of life - there is no future/life without them.
Having said that, not everyone will have children of their own - some can’t, some never marry (priests, monks, nuns, spinster aunts, uncle equivalent) - but they still support family, children, and pro-natalist society. I know tons of those people.
What is frightening are the people who are actively anti-natalist/family/children. I think that is a more recent societal ill.
I’ve got a conundrum, and Nostr is the only place I think might have answer.
I’m looking for some kind of software/program/protocol/whatever to allow me to organize my 20+ years of digital photos.
Bonus if it isn’t in the cloud (already have Google Photo as an extra layer of redundancy).
Everything is backed up on a solid state drive, in a fire safe.
Folders are well organized, but I feel like I’m missing the functionality of writing on the back of the print, in the analog world, so I get finer details with those folders.

I started my bitcoin journey in the summer of 2020. I’ve always considered myself fairly bullish especially with each passing year as I learn more and more.
