We need more (some!) Bitcoin only accelorators in Germany too. Looks great!
How to you see the zaps/comments?
I like the form idea. Maybe the mobile UI issue could be solved with a drop down type component above the text input that highlights/filters available commands while typing. Kinda like discord

I was thinking more from a UX point of view, if supported be the client commands could autocomplete or show tooltips as you write them or be replaced as buttons.
Also when first opening the DM view, it would be cool to show that commands are available to the user. The alternative would be the bot responds with the commands list if the user writes an invalid command.
If you are a non #nostr client or relay developer, what is the normal approach for suggesting a new NIP?
The idea is basically being able to publish IRC type commands for a pubkey [{"/command": "description"}], which are available when DMing the pubkey. They could be published in the kind 0 event (set metadata) with the key "commands". Maybe the clients could display the command prompt list when first opening the DM view to the pubkey.

As many of you know, I've been at Swan Bitcoin for the past 2.5 years.
As Head of R&D, my job has been to basically play with bitcoin stuff: Miniscript, BDK, making Coldcard do cool shit (like hook it up to a CLN and use it as a lightning signer), write Swan's LN backend, t-of-n ECDSA signing, and a bunch of other cool stuff.
If it hasn't been super obvious thus far, Nostr has absolutely captured my imagination and inspiration.
Now it's the time to take a step back, and transition to working on nostr full-time. What am I going to be doing? I'm not sure yet, I have an abundance of ideas that I will be/already am exploring, but now it's the time to double-down and seriously pursue things.
There's a WHOLE lot more to come.
I can't thank @Cory, nostr:npub1fqn4fgzkk8nm2x3wd600n935c9tc7xgg9jhk5dfa0kuvrgvsyv7sgu536l, and the whole Swan crew; it's been an absolute pleasure to work along people who share such a distinctively clear mission of doing what's best for bitcoin and bitcoiners.
LFG, team #bitcoin! 🧡
Congrats! Keep being awesome!
I wrote a rough spec here if you're interested:
Is there a #devchain ?

Can anyone recommend a nostr development kit for golang? I want to implement machine client features into a project, with a subset of NIPs/event types. Does go-nostr fit this?
I've moved Strom to it's own github organisation
Just found the Nostr News podcast from #[0] and #[1]. Great summary of all the awesome things happening on #nostr. Going to catch-up on all the old ones now while coding.

Let's get building (after a coffee)

It's for charging electric vehicles. Yeah, like streaming electrical current: strøm, strom, stroom, strömma
Testing out Amethyst
Amethyst v0.34.0: NIP-94 Support
All Amethyst uploads (videos, images, and GIFs, on the regular feed and on chats/DMs) will create a Kind 1063 event with a hash of the content of those files.
When you see the verification mark below, it means the app has verified that the current image matches the hash when posting. Image servers now cannot change the image without you noticing.

Downloads:
- Play Edition with Translations: https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst/releases/download/v0.34.0/amethyst-googleplay-universal-v0.34.0.apk
- F-Droid Edition without Translations: https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst/releases/download/v0.34.0/amethyst-fdroid-universal-v0.34.0.apk
I imagine it only verifies the image based content, right? Not video
Strom - A FOSS lightning/nostr enabled OCPP bridge
What? It's a self hosted open source application that allows home/private charge point owners to accept lightning payments for charging sessions. Read more at the link below.
When? It's still in the idea stage but something I've been thinking about for a while. I will start coding up an MVP shortly. It would be awesome to find contributors, if you can design or develop, drop me a DM.

I’m not a designer, can you tell? 😂
