Agreed, that will be the thing that is attacked. However, POW is a winner take all game meaning that smaller coins will always suffer from vulnerability to 51% attacks.
Bitcoin does not need fiat on or off ramps. It is peer to peer money that cannot be stopped.
All of them have a fraction of the hashrate of Bitcoin leaving them extremely vulnerable to 51% attacks.
Not to mention they all trend towards zero against #BTC.

Very true but I think we would all have a hard time turning down $1Billion+. While we know everything is going to zero against BTC 1billion worth of real estate would still likely support you and your family for many generations.
although any asset other than BTC you buy with the money will be subject to counterparty risk. I'm more sovereign today with my modest stack than the man will millions in RE and Equities.

Im fine with it looking blank to me as long as other users still see it as it looks on other clients.
Just signed into Damus for the first time. My notes and follows are all there but my profile looks completly blank. Do I need to add my profile picture, banner, and bio on Damus?
Other clients I have used keep all my profile settings not sure if this an issue on my end or if its just because it's an ios app.

That is definitely a reasonable position to take. Nothing would be worse than your Bitcoin being liquidated for some silly dollar loan. Stay humble stack sats is always a winning strategy. I would never borrow more than 20-30% LTV to avoid this problem and I don't plan to do so for quite a while.
As far as the ethical question goes it is true that you are benefiting from the corruption of the fiat system. However, I see this as no different from any other trade. Is it unethical to buy something when it goes on sale or to sell something that is highly demanded? This is how markets and price discovery functions.
I also believe that the more people who borrow dollars and save in Bitcoin the more we accelerate the downfall of the dollar and bring about hyperbitcoinization.
