Good morning!
Unfortunately, there are plenty of idiots…
I’ve never been to a place as beautiful as Hawaii. Literally every direction looked amazing. Not to mention the weather…
Fixed for me now. Thanks Jack!!
Good morning Nostr! Grateful for another day to be alive!!
Saturday night nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle is resolving #plebs withdrawal issues on! What a time to be alive ! #Nostr customer service for the win😁Sorry Jack 🤪
Thanks for getting the conversation started. Thanks nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle for caring about your customers!
Just sent you a DM. Thanks for reaching out!
nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle this is where less and less plebs will be using nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 and looking for other alternatives with instant withdrawals! I know you guys want to protect yourself as well but hope there are other alternatives and ways to handle this so we can withdraw right away.
Yep. I had the same issue when trying to use strike to exchange fiat for Robosats on Friday. I’ll be looking for alternatives next week. Most likely cashapp assuming they still allow instant deposits. It’s a shame too. Can’t Strike just penalize the people that they are having settlement issues with instead of everyone?
I’ve had it for the last few months but have just started really interacting with people on here. People are so welcoming and helpful on here. It really draws you in!
Agreed. Appreciate you guys!
I’ve been tempted to buy a cold card, mainly because so many people recommend it. Just don’t think I have a need for it. They do look really cool though.
One thing that I see people sleeping on with nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl vs other signing devices is that you could actually use a seedsigner for an entire house hold since as long as you unplug the power supply it doesn't actually store your keys on the device like other signing devices. (Cold card has all these ways to fool thieves ect. But nothing beats the keys literally not being stored on the device....right?)
I'm not suggesting you share your seedsigner with people you don't know but it is awesome that you can just own one seed signer that can safely sign transactions for a group of people instead of just 1. For low income areas of the world this could be huge. Also, it can be used with multiple open source wallet softwares instead of you being funneled into using some closed source sketchy software with a profit motive.
#coldstorage #stacksats #bitcoin
Such a flexible solution. Each of my kids have their own key. And I have a multisig wallet for cold storage. Only one seedsigner needed!!
Hey nostr:npub1p2psats79rypr8lpnl9t5qdekfp700x660qsgw284xvq4s09lqrqqk3m82, is the SimpleX chat group still active? I was seeing updates up until 7/17 then nothing. Tried reconnecting and I’m not getting a response. Wondering if it’s just me or not.
Does anybody have any thoughts regarding using Liquid instead of CoinJoins to break the KYC link? I’ve got a fairly small stack that I’ve Coinjoined in the past but I’d like to consolidate those UTXO’s so I don’t risk accidentally joining them in the future.
Thought about pegging into the Liquid with separate transactions, consolidating on Liquid, then pegging out with a single UTXO.
I would think that if you can understand and work with Docker, Proxmox shouldn’t be an issue.
It’s not too bad if you already have some virtualized computing. In my case, I have used Virtualbox, VMware, etc in the past so the concepts transferred pretty easily. Might be a steeper learning curve if you’re new to all of that. But I think it’s worth checking out. Eliminates the need to reinstall when upgrading and also allows live backups of the entire virtual machine.
Almost the exact setup I have! The only suggestion I would add: install proxmox on the laptop first and set up your node as a VM. Then it’s as simple as migrating/copying your VM over to another host when repairing/replacing hardware.
