Best I can do to participate on a network/infrastructure level is move, or pay someone else to host infrastructure (and then trust them)

Sigmanauts - @lexim0n Also, you could run an off chain bot that watches and returns (or forwards to a 2nd wallet) tokens sent that are not in its config file. But, that might cost you if someone decides to spam the heck out of you ;) Probably many other solutions as well without chain modification.
Sigmanauts - @lexim0n Simple token sorts on wallets and or augmented consolidation button that only saves whitelisted tokens (the rest sent to a personal burn wallet just in case). All up to the wallet devs but some simple solutions could be made pretty quickly!

Loans, options etc. for miners to pay for electricity and new hardware seems needed and fairly trivial (especially once share proofs are posted onchain via @LithosProtocol )
