I find myself using nostr less now that I have spotty access to my workstation.
The lack of a usable Android client (or a PWA that is light, usable, and secure with nos2x on Kiwi) really sucks.
iOS folk are lucky :p

* Fair. Just figured that out when attempting to follow people using their npub.
* I know, but it doesn't fetch the contact list from my relays regardless of what I do. I tried deleting app data, reimporting and adding my list of relays, check contacts -> blank.
Works elsewhere.
So I'm typing this out using it, few issues:
My follow list (contact list) isn't picked up, why isn't it fetched? Other clients handle this (Astral/iris)
My relay list is also not picked up, I have to do it manually, same Q.
Otherwise very solid and surprisingly smooth!

astral only renders lowercase jpg/png/whatever
It works.
And it's fine IMO. But notes should be truncated (read more) depending on size (in addition to character count) if there is markdown.

I suspect some others are doing the same.
Or perhaps some clients broadcast unseen notes to the user's list of relays.
