I had a friend in Miami who was a director go do coverage on the 2013 conference and after he left he put it in my head. We were both young and ambitious at the time, the whole wallstreet and anon movements were strong and so on. He was like this is the only F U to the system that makes sense, I did research but was still very young when we first learned of it. Always remember him for that, it was like destiny life always through me signals I just had to calm my mind down enough to see them and that movie was one of them. I figured if they were speaking bitcoin to my generation through a movie about nerds that’s mainstream and pop culture it’s gotta be it.
I rarely used btc before 2015, but then when O watched the movie Dope and had the biggest gut feeling when the kid on there was trying to convince his mother of it. “I just read that money as we know it is dead. Soon the world is only going to buy and sell products using bitcoins, it’s like a complicated math equation. So one day we are going to things with numbers from a math equation? Dope right?” I literally bought $5000 after I heard that 🤣🫡 the rest as we say it is history.
Coinbase let me test their debt card back in 2020. Why I still have this Ill never know. Man I almost went with it and sent my btc to use it after years of holding. Never did though and that was a good look on me. 
My bitcoin journey has been 8+ years I think 2013 was when I first started. Only took serious around 2015 when I did my first major buys at 19. Still holding and never letting go. Shout out to the young plebs, your in for a ride. Many start and grow tired of trying to make it their identity, you will see a lot of change in young plebs as they decide to move on when it doesn’t give them the “platform” they inspired. For me I bought early on a gut feeling, was fresh into coding and programming and bitcoins spaghetti code confused me so much but I wanted to learn more, now go forward and here I am 8+ years later with a company in the industry. Crazy journey.

My monthly budget is something like 50% Needs, 20% Savings, 30% Wants/Bitcoin. The less I want the more that 30% converts to Bitcoin.
