I have. I think that this one will be similar to what I was wanting to do in the tiny house just bigger. And now I have enough room to build bathroom with a shower. So that's exciting.
I've lived in that little camper that you see in the background for 10 years so this thing will feel like a mansion.
I haven't fully planned out the living space yet but I'm going to wall off about 5 feet in on the left there where the doors are and make a space for batteries, inverter, etc for the solar and also some storage. The rest of it will become the living space. It's a 40 ft high cube so there is plenty of room.
Iβve been blown away by the firsthand accounts of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and surrounding areas. There is so much footage from users on TikTok, so I started downloading clips as I came across them and put them into a single video since MSM was so slow to begin covering the disaster. It turned out to be 3.5 hours long, and this merely scratches the surface of what people are posting.
As a side note, I tried to find a way to put this on Nostr directly but even after compressing the video it was like 7.5GB (3.5 hrs of video). Satellite.earth payment system is broken and it would have cost like $40 worth of sats for a 10GB nostr.build, with just this one video using most of that. Flare limits to 2GB files. So I settled on Rumble.

Thank you for taking the time to put this together and post it.
Ok, let's try this again.
Tiny House Part 2:
The Container Home

Morning visitors.

I've never seen one in the floor. Every dryer that I have ever seen (US) vents out the back so the vent is in the wall.
Dorpers but most likely not pure bred. I got a little starter pack from a neighbor (1 male, 2 females). When it's time to replace the male I'll buy a pure bred and build from there. They are a fairly popular breed where I live.
Yes. I've had three births out here so far and all of them have been just one.
You put them online is where you put them. Garlic is sold out almost everywhere and expensive when you find it. Depending on the type I suppose. I just bought 4 heads of "Music" for 25 bucks.
New addition to the homestead yesterday.

To a point. Since it was a cropland when I got it there is a hardpan about a foot and a half down. I typically dig holes starting with a gas powered auger and once I hit hardpand I fill the hole with water and come back the next day. It takes 4-5 days to get a 3 ft hole. Good thing I'm not in a hurry.

This is an awesome video, I like the method because itβs simple, dig holes. Have the water seep into the ground, raise water table on the land. Might be of help: https://youtu.be/-8nqnOcoLqE?feature=shared
I've seen this before and I do plan on trying something similar in the future. I don't have a tractor either or I would have dug some swales at this point. I dug a very small pond at the base of the natural swale on my property but it's only filled up twice in 6 years. I just keep trying stuff. I'm not allowed to utilize the aluvial water and the water table out there is around 380 feet so wells are quite expensive.
In the few years that I have lived here I have planted around 100 (bare root) trees of various types. I've tried from seed as well but the real problem is that I don't have a well yet and I get around 14 inches of rain a year. It's a high desert. And this all used to be cropland and I'm trying to restore it back to prarie grass. Which also isn't working.
What's worse is every person there will kill time by scrolling on their perfectly good phone while waiting to go in to spend $1500 on basically the same phone.
Sunset from last night.
