共产党的公开主张里面，最坦诚的一句就是“枪杆子里面出政权”，他们要保住政权，用暴力保住。
当然，还有另外一句描述也很准确，就是“谎言重复一百遍就会成为真理”，暴力和谎言，就是共党的两大武器。
王丹说“当人们不再恐惧的时候，共产党就维持不下去了。”我觉得未免失之简单，我觉得首要的，是要让人民认清共产党的谎言，当每个人都不相信这种谎言的时候，才是推翻共产党的开始。
第五章：稳定性和自私的机器
ESS：进化稳定策略，凡是种群的大部分成员采用某种策略，而这种策略的好处是其他策略所不及的，这种策略就是进化稳定策略或称ESS。

动物是伟大的基因机器，使它们不同于植物的基本单元是神经元，它们不但发展出移动，进食等能力，还有通信能力，鲸歌，虫唱，鸟鸣，还有各种各样的策略，例如蜜蜂清除病婴的卫生习惯，很多动物“欺骗”的能力，这些未必都直接对应于某个基因，许多时候基因“告诉”大脑，“请采取任何有利于个体生存的策略”。
第二章：复制因子：
在生命这种奇妙的基因机器的产生过程中，一个重要的时间节点是复制因子的诞生，即在早期充满有机物的“原始汤”中，有一天产生了一种可以通过利用其它有机物组件来复制自己的一类奇特的蛋白质大分子。
《自私的基因》主要想论证：成功基因突出特性是其无情的自私性，为了有效达到自私目的，在某些特殊情况下，也会滋长一种有限的利他主义。
