I do get it that relays set in other clients may have an impact but in my case, all other clients rightly point to the relay I added. If at all Damus is having issues with it, shouldn’t it actually pick it up correctly or not revert to nos.lol?
Yes. I did try with other clients and they all have the relay I added manually. Only Damus doesn’t seem to reflect it as expected
Is it only me or the relay issue continues to exist? I try to add a relay and remove all the default/recommended ones. Add some events, close the app after some time and reopen, the relay I set is gone and the default relays get added back. Tested with v1.6. Tried the other clients and they all work fine. nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5
This needs to go big.
Cache clearing logic seems to be working, good stuff nostr:npub13v47pg9dxjq96an8jfev9znhm0k7ntwtlh9y335paj9kyjsjpznqzzl3l8 . Damus should now use less space over time. Now if we could just get this pushed to the appstore 😅

What in the cache gets cleared first. Is there any order?
I don’t hate Lightning spams. Who would have dreamt of earning sats through receiving spams? Keep em coming ⚡️⚡️😅😅
This is exactly what Odell was saying in the What Bitcoin Did podcast. nostr:note16a88mhwlsvxd40esyazx77zwwm9rvdmwplyltenfd9qvjkdl0uasx6gp55
Who’s going to tell her?
Only true Bitcoiners won’t like Bitcoin price pumping because they can stack lesser and lesser by day. Stay humble and stack sats while you still can

Yes, with an option to disable it

With Damus and Nostr, I don’t actually feel like I’m missing X much at all. Seemless transition. Great job nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955
That may be the actual sentiment after all. It can be a simple sentiment that evolved to a complex ideology which challenges the status quo of the most globally salable network. Besides, anything that a bunch of people believe to hold a value to them has an intrinsic value. Like garbage has no value for many while it does have a great value for selective some who turns garbage into energy or so.
I haven’t seen anything like NOSTR before.
