I write about bitcoin, Litecoin & crypto

"Where the foe expects us, we are forty miles past. Where he believes we'll be tomorrow, we are tonight; where he makes us out to be today, we have passed through yesterday."

In response to the events, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, hired an additional 1,000 censors, according to the Commissioner. Meta is actively censoring content and websites which are deemed to go against ‘community guidelines’.

The SEC claims that Coinbase’s actions contradict its own claims. Since it became a public company, the regulator said the exchange repeatedly told shareholders that cryptocurrencies could be deemed securities in violation of federal laws.

Post-Blackrock Forbes.

Bitcoin is now green, helps third-world countries and is not used by the bad guys anymore.

My sense is that any crypto project which isn't primarily based on censorship resistance is unlikely to be around in the long run.

Litecoin Mweb zaps would be a very cool addition to this platform.

The #AI tool suite is built on L402 Langchain, a framework built for Large Language Models (#LLMs) that are supervised learning algorithms which are used in the assembly and creation of chatbots and generative Q&A answering models.

I'm a security threat according to Meta. They won't specify anything though so I guess I'll just take their word for it.

Meta is expected to launch a new application called Threads which will harvest sensitive data and faces regulatory hurdles for breaching every data protection law under the sun. Meta platforms are also accused of rampant censorship.

130 countries, representing 98 percent of global GDP, are exploring a CBDC due to their inherent ability to facilitate direct government surveillance and coercive control over payments.

Since the supposed problem of ‘cross border payments’ has already been solved many times over, ECB executives have revealed that introducing a digital euro is not necessarily about the public good.

#BlackRock has refiled its #bitcoin Spot ETF application. Alongside 5 other organisations including Invesco, WisdomTree, Valkyrie, ARK Invest, and Fidelity, the asset manager chose #Coinbase as its partner, despite legal complaints levied against the exchange.

Crypto trading on Binance is set to become less private in certain EU. The crackdown on privacy coins, freedom of speech and finances in the EU has accelerated in recent years, seriously undermining credibility in regulators, perhaps indefinitely.

I'm on a privacy, anti-censorship, anti-everything binge at the moment. I don't like where things are trending generally, and that might have initiated some primal threat-response mechanism. In any case, here's why privacy matters.
